Looking for employment with a reining or cow horse trainer in the Edmonton area. I have several years experience working with colts. Have started some myself and have lots of experience puttin miles on. Have worked and ridden under some very accomplished trainers. Have a good seat, soft hands and a gentle, effective approach. Have not worked in the industry for several years but have continued with colts for my own enjoyment. Took Western Horse Training at Olds College in 97-99. Ready and willing to learn your training program. Hard worker and very easy to get along with.

He is the 2007 Appaloosa National Champion in Junior Reining. QT has been shown in Green and Ranch Reiner classes. This flashy gelding (“Zink”) has tons of eye appeal. He carries himself beautifully and has a powerhouse stop.  He was started under saddle late for a reiner - so has not been in the show pen yet.  We have hauled him to a number of shows and he handled the experience and the warm up pen with no trouble. He is now trained in all reining maneuvers and ready for the 2010 show season. Show him as a derby prospect for the next two years. With his breeding, style and strength, he could also be a prospect for working cow horse or just about any western discipline.
Zink has a great personality and pleasant disposition in the barn.  No vices. Quiet and easy to handle- catch him, tie him, ground tie him, load him, wash him, clip him, and work around him with no problems.
