2009 Year End Award Winners / Reserve Champions – We would like to take your picture at the May Show – Saturday, May 8, 2010
Locke Duce Clinic May 6/7, 2010 The clinic will run from 8 am to 5 pm Thursday and Friday. Spectators are welcome.
May Show Waiver Required – AHEAD of TIME preferably (Thursday) for Saddle Creek(required) and Reining Alberta – Please find a combined waiver attached & fill in the first line "benefit of:" with Reining Alberta & Saddle Creek Ranch.
May North Branch Show SATURDAY May 8, 2010 Please have your entries to Sandra Prosko by Thursday, May 6th. Phone: 780-963-9008 or email sprosko@cruzinternet.com. The reason we need the entries early is so we can judge how big the show will be. If it is really big we may start the show a bit early. Plan to arrive to give yourself enough time for warm-ups. There is a great outdoor arena to use as well. Please help us keep the entire area neat and clean.
There will not be a concession at the show.
North Branch Score Sheets. Score sheets are at the registration desk for all who would like to look at their scores. Please leave the sheets there, for they are required for year end highpoints and we do not want to lose any of them.
May Locke Duce Clinic / Show Saddle Creek Barn Rules ( both before and during the event)
- no smoking anywhere on premises....this year especially!!! Way too dry ( the rain has helped but I suspect we will be tinder dry again by the clinic!)
- no dogs in any buildings / arenas. If dogs are on the property at all they must be on a leash
- trailer parking ( and unloading) is behind the small red barn- in the main pasture.
- clean up after horses in arenas, pasture and yard and after unloading.
- clean up any litter before leaving
- keep front entry gate closed & wash rack is closed during clinic/ show
- the house area/yard is not open to clinic / show participants

Please remember that entries are due the Thursday before the show for all North Branch shows.

2. Presentation of prizes for the April 18th show will take place after the lunch warm up (1 pm) for the morning classes and at the end of the day for the afternoon classes.
3. 2009 North Branch Year End Champions and Reserve Award Winners. Please bring your jackets to the April Show if you areattending so that 2009 year end pictures can be taken.
4.New North Branch Buckle Class. Watch for the new North Branch "Never Won a Buckle" Class starting with the April North Branch Show.
Never Won A Buckle Class RULES as of April 14, 2010
- Open to any NON-PRO rider WITH LESS THAN $500 LTE on any horse.
- One horse/rider combination per class per show. HORSE OWNERSHIP RULES APPLY Rider can never have won a buckle at ANY reining, prior January 1, 2010.
- One or two hands, any legal bit.
- Will run between Ranch Reiner & Beginner Horse Regular entry fees Hi Point Series-buckle to be awarded at the last schooling show in September Prizes to 3rd during series.

Clinic, & Show: Heatherdown Hills Arena, Onoway
Directions: Heatherdown Hills Arena: North of Stony Plain on Hwy 779 to secondary Hwy 633 (back way to St. Albert) Turn West. Drive to RR 14 "T" intersection Turn Left. Keep heading South and the Arena is on the right side of the road about 2-3 KM.

Clinic & Show: Sherwood Park
Directions: Saddle Creek Ranch: Travel east of Sherwood Park on Highway 21 to the Wye Road/ Hwy 21 intersection. Go straight east on Wye Road. SCR is half way between Range Road 224 and 223. It is located on the right ( south side) of the road and access is via a service road just off Wye Road – you will see the awning on the arena ( it still says Sherwood Meadows….don’t let that confuse you!)- go through the wrought iron gates. Please look for the signs regarding where to park ( trailer parking will be in the pasture- weather conditions permitting!).

Directions:North of Edmonton on Hwy#2 to junction Hwy#661 at Rochester. East on Hwy #661 to Newbrook. From Newbrook, continue east on #661 for 5 km. to RR 201. Turn north on RR 201for 1.8 km. - use second driveway to arena.
From East: take Hwy #21 north through Ft. Saskatchewan to Lamont. At Lamont turn north on Hwy #831 to Hwy #661. Turn west for approx. 5 km. to RR 201. Turn north on RR 201 for 1.8 km. - use second driveway to arena.
